Dear Mr. Robotham,

You will remember that I mentioned to you about the cracks that had appeared in the front tyres on my Car.

Last night I had a friend staying with me, a Mr. Bryson, who also runs a Bentley 4 1/4-litre, recently purchased, with a touring body, and I find that his front tyres have gone in the same way, so that it is definitely a characteristic of the tyre.

I thought you would like to have this information. I might add that the trouble does not seem to be getting any worse, although for the mileage I have done generally the tyres are standing up very badly.

I think Mr. Hives is getting Mr. Bryson up to see him in the near future, so when he arrives you can see the state of his tyres in comparison with mine.

Yours sincerely,

W.C.Devereux.
