| 261 FILE To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/SW.24.5.41. Neville Rollason, who is Managing Director of John Summers the Steel firm, asked if he could try a Bentley V.{VIENNA} for a few days. He wanted to purchase one but I have told him that this is impossible. His company provided us with the steel to make the Myth body, and the Directors have between them a good number of Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars. I provisionally fixed with C. to loan him the Trials car on May 30th, but now understand that you are going to use it yourself. I have the original experimental car which has done 60,000 miles, i.e., 8-B-V, which I could loan him, but it is not a very good example of the type. Shall I do this, or would it be possible for you to use one of our experimental cars, and let Rollason have the Trials car for a day or two. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
