To E.P. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} γ 1204 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}3/MH.{M. Huckerby}20.4.38. SERVICE COMPLAINT - KESTREL. I was down at Stapleford Abbot aerodrome (near North Weald) on Good Friday and was shown a Kestrel (either 1B or X derated) which had a small hole (about .150" dia.) in the water jacket of No.6 cyl., left hand block, inside the Vee. This hole had appeared and let the water out. As I thought this might interest your department I have mentioned the matter to Mr.Winfield. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F.
