For the attention of Mr. Gatiss.

Dear Sirs,

re Turbo Transmitters for Bentley.

As pointed out to you on the telephone due to pressure of urgent work we have not been able to forward to you the drawing information which we promised when you visited Belper, neither have we been able to give you our criticisms on your designs.

Unfortunately when you rang Mr. Tarlton was away ill. He now tells me that he hopes to send you all the information promised by the week-end.

I hope you will forgive our apparent lack of interest which is really the result of urgent war commitments.

In order that we may understand more fully the functioning of your transmission when coupled to our engine, we would welcome from you graphs giving the full information for your 2 models, namely 14.9" diameter and 12" diameter. The former would be coupled with the larger carrier engine and the latter with the engine used in our Bentley Car. I believe you have already received from us power curves for these units, horsepower being plotted against engine r.p.m.

We have graphs for your transmission in our possession, but they lack the curve for engine r.p.m. plotted against output speed.

Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}
