1029 c. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/JBD.{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems} Experimental Dept. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}6/MH.{M. Huckerby} 12th. November 1938. Automotive Products Co. Ltd., Tachbrook Road, Leamington Spa, For the attention of Mr. Parnell. Dear Sirs, Lockheed Brakes - Hill Holder. With reference to the cars we are going to fit with Lockheed brakes, and which we have discussed, we think we might also fit a Hill-Holder even though only the front brakes are hydraulically operated. The front brakes would hold on moderate gradients. May we have an installation drawing of a Hill-Holder, as the drawing on data sheet 23 gives no details of the fixing bosses. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
