BUMP TEST - 40/50 HP.

New scheme of Front Axle and Brakes (C.71030), Steering (C.71205) Radius Rods (N.S.1469), Springs & Pitts: (N.S.1409), Side Steering Tube (F.70666).
Drum = 105 R.P.M. Tyres = 65 lbs./sq.in. Cams = 2" lift.
Load = 600 lbs. plus top half Crankcase and full Radiator.
Loads of original springs - N.S. 1185 lbs.
O.S. 1268 lbs.

8 57 | 8 57 | F.4636 | Near side front spring (Woodhead) Top leaf broken in two places. - 1" forward and 2½" to rear of centre bolt. Both front springs replaced by Firths (Loads 900 lbs.& 950 lbs.)

14 57 | 6 0 | F.70327 | Near side front spring (Firth) Top leaf broken 2" forward of centre bolt. Replaced by Firths spring (Load 950 lbs.)

17 30 | 17 30 | F.6985 | Steering Column Tube broken at lug connecting same to steering gear box.

| 17 30 | F.2871 | Cross member steering column clip broken.

17 45 | 17 45 | F.70545 | Steering Pendulum Arm broken 2" from ball-joint end.

19 40 | 10 43 | F.70328 | Off side front spring (Firth) top leaf broken 9½" to rear of centre bolt. Replaced by Firth spring (Load 950 lbs.)

24 22 | 24 22 | F.70504 | Buffer spring broken in rear joint of side steering tube.

24 41 | 24 41 | F.9702 | Steering rocker shaft arms broken at point of junction of arms to shaft proper.
