Messrs.S Smith & Sons Ltd.,
Cricklewood Works,
London, N.W.2.

For the attention of Mr.C.W.Nichols.

Dear Sir,

We thank you for your letter of the 23rd.,
inst. ref.Sl. We are pleased to note that you are
dealing actively with the troubles we discussed
with you on the occasion of our last visit.

With regard to paragraph four of your
letter we have looked into the matter of the
petrol gauge test plant and beg to say that we
have every confidence in your tests at Cricklewood
so that we do not propose to purchase this test
plant but to rely on your tests down there and
tests actually on the chassis itself.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
