C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} BENSPORT REAR BRAKES.

Herewith we send N. scheme 3501 shewing the
arrangement of the single type rear brakes for Bensport.

The axle tubes, hubs, and fittings, are intended
to be the same as Peregrine except that Rudge-Whitworth
wheels may be used instead of Dunlop.

Though we are investigating the question of
finding some method other than riveting for holding on
the ferodo, we have not yet come to a decision, and
have shewn an arrangement of rivets to carry on with.
