In view of the importance of the coachwork weights on these cars, we have very carefully weighed all the parts on our own scales, so avoiding any error when weighing the lorry before and after loaded. The weights are as follows :- Body including seats, cushions ................... 889½ lbs. 2 front wings and valances ..................... 45 lbs. 2 front stone guards .......................... 9 lbs. 2 rear wings and stays ........................ 23 lbs. Felt and pile mats, wing piping ............... 23½ lbs. Paint -1 tin sufficient for bonnet etc. ....... 9 lbs. We have not included extra paint for wheels, only a proportion 999 lbs.
