Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 19th inst., and this also acknowledges receipt of your order No. 45699 of the 22nd inst., for relining four brake shoes, your GB.3748 with D.7732 material, shoes and linings supplied by your goodselves.

These have immediately been put in hand and the price for same will be 2/6d each shoe. Terms are Nett Monthly Settlement.

Whilst writing we would confirm our telephonic communication when we stated that unfortunately one lining arrived damaged, but as instructed we are despatching the three shoes and will send the other one forward when we get another lining.
