After reading your memo the writer looked over the bonded cars with JPB. We could not find any with gaps approaching the figures quoted. We agree the worst feature is the front wing to door error, but these have been considerably improved of late. The alignment difference between the rear window moulding and the permanent window is very obvious, but unfortunately this will always be so to allow for the necessary clearance of the shaped portion of the rear quarter light. The fact that the top of the door sill is curved and mates up to the flat rear window moulding does not improve matters. What does ETT say? Dd. | ||
