Description of Parts. SIDE STEERING TUBE END. N.sch. 2258.
Origin. To improve the steering.

Experimental Test Report.
This tube carries 1500 lbs/1" rating springs with increased travel. Increased travel is definitely beneficial and the rating has been agreed to be the optimum by Sales and Derby.

Road Test Report.
Run 20 hrs. bump test and 8,000 miles on 12-EX, 8-EX, 7-EX and 98-NK altogether. Running on R's car in France. A marked improvement for bad road shocks.

ACTION B
A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to Customers.
B Scrap and replace on Chassis in Works.
C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis.
