The conversion and modification of the B.60 crankcase pattern.

We understand that you are now converting the B.80 Crankcase pattern to the B.60, we are informed in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}4/MH.{M. Huckerby} 12.5.39 that certain modifications are coming through which will mean some alteration to this pattern in regard to the Water Pump facing, the Wheelcase and the Sump, together with the nose end of the crank. When we have the necessary drawings, we will let you have same, which are to be incorporated on the patterns, after which several castings are to be taken off, and then the pattern is to be further modified to EB.4918 (Print already sent) and further castings taken off.
