Improvement on 40/50 HP. for performance, quietness & sweet running. Engine signs roughness - retard 55 to 45. Drive groans noticeable but not bad 20 - 30 - 48. Third gear 20 & 30. Rattle noise forward drive 30. Axle noisy retard - or tyres bad noise. Groans bad on sets & grunts low speeds (plain roads) - Pomeroy Burton trouble. Brakes squeak bad, & too grabby, & mechanical clatter, & mechanism squeaks. Front springs - bump on bad pot holes, etc. Change gear - too hard against side movement springs & too close fitting. Steering very good. Carburation - picks up weak, but otherwise too strong. Exhaust noisy - spitting (never starts off switch - contact O.K.) Side shaft - uneven rattle (dry noise - bearing). Gears very good. Clutch - chatters. Ground clearance seems much less than 40/50 HP. Suggest point for consideration by all concerned. 40/50 ground clearance (L.A.C.II) 10" L.A.C.
