The only difference between your car and ours with regard to clutch pit pressure seems to be that you have no flywheel tail bearing and we have. The removal of the flywheel tail bearing leaves a large hole open to the atmosphere at the back of the clutch, which may conceivably be why you get no pressure therein, and also why you are getting such bad leaks from the flywheel main bearing. We wonder whether the thermostats are functioning properly in your car. For the purpose of test you might remove these and see whether it has any effect on the water temperature.
