-2- If the user elects to keep the battery in his own garage he has the choice of either leaving it mounted on the car or removing it. The latter may be preferable in order to avoid any possibility of acid leakage. If the garage is a cold one, the battery should receive some protection during the winder months to avoid risk of the electrolyte freezing, a risk which is remote if it is kept in a fully charged condition.
