For the attention of Mr.Royle

Dear Sirs,

We regret that we have not answered your letter of the 30th ult. previously but the writer has been away.

We are most interested in the results you have obtained with the alteration to the drip valve, and should very much like to try an instrument so fitted at the earliest possible opportunity.

We have tried out the non return valve in the line between the autovac and the petrol tank and find we get an appreciable improvement in delivery. We are carrying out endurance tests with this valve in the system.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
