The doors are thin and appear light although the lock looks to be of the English pattern. The lifter after lowering the window down winds on and lifts it again.

Such doors and fittings seem to serve their purpose equal to the thick and heavy ones, and if so they are absolutely necessary. Thick and heavy doors lose appearance or room, and are of excessive weight.
