Date 23.1.22 X No.3426 Drawing No. Part List A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works. C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test. D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis. Experimental Test Report. This is not an alteration in design but alteration in the method of forming the teeth - the same standard gears are used. Seven sets of these gears were fitted to standard production gear boxes - they were not rubbed or ground in. Road Test Report. One box was run for several hours on the dynamometer. There was no sign of any wear on the gears. The seven gears were all passed as very good and were a definite improvement over present standard for silence. Signature of Exp.
