Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

for the attention of Mr.Steadman.

With reference to shutter operating thermostats, we hope to return the two samples to you on Monday next, modified in respect of their operating temperatures. It has proved a little difficult to select a spirit within your range which can be regarded as stable. Mixtures of two spirits are rather erratic in their performance and we are trying various straight non-compounds.

Yours faithfully,
for S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LTD.

ENGINEER.

To avoid delay all envelopes should be addressed to the firm.
