Oil Consumption on the Bentley.

We notice that in the Quarterly Complaints for the March quarter of this year there are 48 cases of high oil consumption on the Bentley.

In Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}12/KW.11.3.36, we asked for all the available information to be passed on to us on this subject in order to help us clear up the trouble. We are very disappointed with the information we have received from W. K.{Mr Kilner} and P. have both given us useful statistics.

We are entirely dependent upon information obtained from Depots with regard to this complaint because we do not have it on our endurance runs on our experimental cars. As an example, on a 16,000 miles run which we have just completed on B-56-BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}, the oil consumptions recorded were as follows :-
