We are entirely in agreement with the policy of fitting Halls metal to connecting rod bearings, and a large oil pump on G.Eyston's Bentley B.24.DG, and furthermore this should be done in similar cases for known hard drivers.

Dealing with the points you raise in your memo, we agree the position requires re-considering, and with this end in view, will you please come to Derby to discuss the matter.
