Referring to your Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}9/AN.13.8.38., the heaters in question have now been despatched to you, and we shall be interested to have your opinion of them.

We have now received a reply from Messrs. Clayton who state that the difference of £1 between the S2CA and S2RA heaters is entirely due to the quieter motor used in the latter.

With regard to the Smith produced Hadees heater, the position at the moment is that the only one they have available is too bulky and too noisy to be satisfactory.

We are using some of their components in a heating and ventilating scheme which we have rigged up, and have one or two alternative heater schemes of theirs under consideration, but have definitely not approved their heaters for fitment to our cars and would certainly not do so without informing you of our recommendations.
