Re: R.R.A.I.

Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}7/E4.3.30. and Gr{George Ratcliffe}19/25.7.30.

We had a Conference (as per copy of Minutes attached) to consider the items set out in Whr{Mr Wheeler}2/H20.1.30.

We followed on with the points in the order as set out in paragraphs in Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}7/E4.3.30. as under :-

(1) Bumper Fittings.

Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} saw the American car sent back to London on Friday afternoon the 7th instant.

The copy of Minutes attached deal with the question of fittings for the experimental American chassis.

(2) Lamp Switches.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} is giving this matter his attention, because he is of the opinion it should be considered from a design pointof view for our own cars as well as for those for U.S.A.

(3) Hinged cap for petrol Tank.

This will be fitted on the 1st experimental chassis.

(4) Hand Throttle stop.

It was decided Oy. will demonstrate this to officials here, after which it would have our consideration.

(5) Oil Filter.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} is at present engaged upon this, and he hopes to complete a scheme in about a week's time.

(6) Steering.

Oy. will discuss this matter with M & Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} and it will be considered by the Design Committee at Derby.
