Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Instruction & shop 1373 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}17/ML.30.1.41. 9.B.V. (Log:Book Note.) 6 gallons of petrol were added. Apparently the clutch pedal is fouling the boards since it tends to stick when the clutch is released. The rattle from the timing gears is quite alarming. The slow speed carburation under idling conditions was so bad that I thought that either :- 1. The carburettors have never been set, 2. They are flooding, 3. The pistons are sticking in the dash pots. Apart from the timing gears, there were other rattles which may have been pistons or valve gear.
