PHANTOM 111. PROPELLER SHAFT.

fe/AS

We have investigated the use of a 3" dia. Hardy Spicer propeller shaft on P.111, and send herewith G.CD.688 shewing the clearance with the slot in the 3rd cross member. We ask for the upper end of the slot to be extended a little, and for .075 to be taken off all round the slot. This we think can be done from an examination of the car, provided it does not involve too much tool costs.

This propeller shaft is intended for the next 10,000 miles car.
