XVII-3 To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} PN.{Mr Northey} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}6/KT.14.4.33. BENTLEY CAR. Replying to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}4/E.12.4.33. Our second Bentley car will be completed, with body fitted, today. This car is built up with all the latest pieces. To get it finished in time has been a great achievement. We have no intention of sending another Bentley car to France until we are satisfied we have overcome all the complaints. The next car to go will be a production model for a final proof run. We can prove out whether the modifications to piston and differential are likely to be satisfactory on our test apparatus here. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
