FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} C. to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 20HP. LARGER CRANKPIN. We send herewith LeC. 2756/7. shewing the modifications necessary to the 20HP. engine for the introduction of a 2" dia. crankpin. This drawing also shews a proposed longer con. rod, and taller cylinder block, intended for use in conjunction with an aluminium turbulent type of head, but these latter features are not necessary for the trial of the larger crankpin. LeC. 2757. gives particulars of slight modifications necessary to the oil level indicator for this new bottom half. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
