SUBJECT

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter of April 5th. referring to our latest type vacuumatic distributor, it should be possible to fit the vacuumatic type of distributor to a Wraith engine, and we accordingly enclose copy of our drawing 9-A-9863 showing the general dimensions of such a distributor.

This could be fitted with a flange and the shaft end machined to be interchangeable with your existing distributor. You will note that the cam is of the 8 lobe type used with a single circuit breaker arm, the "build up" is therefore less than that on the 3 lobe type of cam.

If you think that this point will not affect your performance at high speed we will make up a sample unit for you. This actual distributor is the one we are using on the Lagonda.

Yours faithfully,

B.Rushton.
Technical Director.
