COPY. 1069 To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Cars of other makes in the Experimental Dept. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}8/E3239. I am in receipt of BY.6/MH.{M. Huckerby}21.1.39. Somebody was telling me the other day that the Humber Super Snipe selling for £385 was a very good car and I had already made a note to endeavour to get hold of one to try. I shall be at Derby as usual next week and shall doubtless be seeing you on other matters when we can discuss this further, but, if you want an immediate decision, the position is that I agree, if Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} does, to your making the exchange of the Jaguar for a Super Snipe for £130. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Have done Ls letter since then (only) | ||
