Messrs.Joseph Lucas Ltd.,
Great Kingstreet,
Birmingham, 19.

For the attention of Mr.R.N.Neill.

Dear Sir,

Some time ago we had a visit from a gentlemen of the name of Kilroy of Lane End, Everton, Nr.Lymington, Hants., who demonstrated to us a scheme he had invented for automatically swivelling headlamps we thought the scheme very ingenious but of course as we do not make headlamps I took the opportunity of sending him along to you to get your opinion as to the desirability of taking up the question of manufacturing the same. He has now written to me again regarding these headlamps and I wouldlike to have your considered opinion on the scheme before answering his letter.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
