from Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} K5010 Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}5/H22/5/26. Crankshaft. I have arranged with Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} and Peskett to lap a 20HP crankshaft. I want this building up in an engine, and this engine to pass through the new system of cleansing the oil with the Delaval scheme. Then the engine wants fitting into chassis No.1644; this chassis is going a 10,000 miles run in France and Mr.Maddocks knows all about it. I believe also Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} wants to fit some experimental pieces inside the engine, or on the chassis, at any rate. Will you kindly get in touch with Messrs Peskett, Hives and Maddocks, in order to push this chassis, so that we may get on with our 10,000 miles with all these improved schemes. [Signature] | ||
