I am in receipt of Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/MJ.19.1.31. I quite agree to your instructing Springfield to make the spring modifications you refer to on the two or three cars they have out there which have not already been treated.

I note that the modification is not very expensive and only means re-building the front springs, utilising the same top leaf and altering the shock absorber loads.

In writing them, please say that we shall be pleased to bear the cost expenses incurred.
