As our rationalised chassis have so many design features new to this company we consider that we should carry out periodical inspections of vital parts of the chassis. Will you please arrange for the following parts to be inspected at 5,000 mile intervals. (1) Wheels for evidence of cracks or looseness on hubs. (2) Steering connections and levers for cracks, looseness of adjustable tube pinch bolts, looseness of ball end pins. (3) Steering gear for excessive slack and looseness of mounting. (4) Suspension levers for cracks or looseness and failure of rubber bearings. (5) Front roll rod for cracks and failure of rubber bearings. (6) Rear axle for looseness of bolts and oil leaks. (7) Rearshock damper links for failure of rubber bearings. (8) Engine mountings for cracks and failure of rubber parts. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev.
