Confirming the deletion of the flexible earthing connection for the condenser from production instructions.

X&700 X4054 In accordance with R's request, and as a result of the recent 10,000 mile test on which an excellent result with the platinum points has been obtained without the flexible earthing connection on the moving portion of the contact breaker to the chassis frame, we would like it confirmed that that portion only of the condenser earthing scheme comprising the flexible connection should be deleted from the production instructions. This means that the improved earthing of the condenser to the contact breaker case will continue to be on both chassis, and to be identical on the two. It is this portion of the earthing scheme which is the more valuable because it gives a better connection direct from the condenser to the contact breaker points. MADE AT CREWE EFC. | ||
