With reference to the proposal to make E.50186 and 50188 forgings so that the arms can be left black and the bosses only machined for taking the driving pins, would you please note that Mr Royce agrees to this. We have shewn on "N" Scheme 802 - three prints attached, how we think this may be done without difficulty by pinching a little room here and there along the length.

Mr Royce wishes the castellions of E.15186 to be of the parallel type, similar to those on the sliding gears of the gear box, and not of the "V" type as shewn. He wishes the wheel to be carried on the ground outside diameter of the shaft. The female part to be broached true on this diameter.
