To CWB. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X5900 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG14.4.26. 20 HP. FOR SALES 10,000 MILES TEST. X5770 We are progressing with the experimental pieces; we have not yet started to build up the chassis. Our recommendation is that you allot a standard production chassis for this test. You could then take that chassis and fit the body to it. In the meantime we shall be preparing the new steering and another engine unit fitted with the new parts. If you return to us the chassis after the body is fitted, it will then take about a fortnight to complete the car. We do not think it would be advisable to send the chassis to the coachbuilders fitted with the new steering and new position of pedals as these are essentially points which the coachbuilders are interested in. It is just as economical to allot a standard production chassis because the parts we remove can be used up on production. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
