Dear Robotham,

Many thanks for your letter of the 25th instant.

I am sorry that it was quite impossible for me to communicate with you at all as a result of your letter. First of all it was not posted until the 26th and arrived at this Office on Saturday morning, and I did not get sight of it until this morning.

I am so sorry to hear that you have to take a fortnight's sick leave, and do hope it is nothing serious, and that you will very quickly be back to normal again.

As soon as you are back, and are able to arrange it, I should be glad if you would drop me a line saying when it would be convenient for me to come.

With best wishes and kind regards,

Yours sincerely,

H.S Sammons.

HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/PET.
