RE SYLPHONS.

With reference to Mr. Olley's note Oy8-F14/6/19, do you not think it would be wiser to utilise one of the standard sylphons if this is in any way possible, and it would appear to be more desirable to ask them to provide larger size standard sylphons than new standards of smaller diameter and longer length. For example I note the 3" sylphon gives a movement of ½". One would expect that the mechanism could be operated satisfactorily with this movement.
