Re: SUNDAY TRANSPORT. ------------------ With further reference to memo Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}6/RS.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}18.10.39., the following routes are suggested to reduce distance and number of stops to a minimum. ----------------- Sunday, Oct.22nd, Nov. 5th, Nov. 19th, Dec. 3rd. etc. 1st call (8-45 a.m.). New Inn, Cross Roads, Chellaston. 2nd call Shelton Lock - main Ashby Road. 3rd call Cavendish Picture Palace, Normanton. ----------------- Sunday, Oct.29th, Nov.12th, Nov.26th, Dec.10th etc. 1st call (8-45 a.m.) New Inn, Cross Roads, Chellaston. 2nd call - Mitre Hotel, Allenton. 3rd call - Osmaston Road end of Nightingale Road. 4th call - Opposite R.R. Club, Osmaston Road. Mr. Gass will be in charge on Sundays Oct.22nd etc. and Mr. Stark on Sundays, Oct.29th etc. Both routes involve walks up to 1 mile by some of the personnel in order to reduce transport distance. ---------- Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} | ||
