7th. June, 1939.

Messrs. Amal Ltd.,
Holborn Works,
Perry Barr,
BIRMINGHAM.20.

For the attention of Mr. Bailey.

Dear Sirs,

Further to our telephone conversation of this morning we are enclosing herewith the prints promised showing modifications to the bottom bonnet fasteners, incorporating a modified stiffening piece at the back of the bonnet.

A second addition, which, we should like, is the inclusion of escutcheons and rubbers as on the original Rover fasteners. These are not shown on the drawings, and we leave the details entirely in your hands. If these two modifications could be included in the remaining sets of experimental fasteners we should like to have them.

We should also be glad if you would confirm that the price of 6/- per pair quoted by Mr. Boresby some time ago is correct.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
