I have been in touch with Dr. Bairstow and understand from him tests have been made under his direction on the latest type of B.T.H. and Watford magnetos. The reports have been issued to the Air Ministry, but are not distributed to Engine Builders. He would not like to take the responsibility of giving us a copy for our own information, and suggests we write to the Air Ministry, asking them, if any such comparisons have been made at Farnborough. If so may we be permitted to have a copy. If EFC. could let me have a copy of the particular points he is seeking information on, I may be able to get some information during my next visit to Farnborough. Lr.{Mr Ellor} | ||
