X8370 X7370 The alteration from rubber to flat steel springs as a means of introducing flexibility in the [strikethrough]XXXX[/strikethrough] servo mechanism has run 3000 miles on 7-EX car, 4500 miles on 12-EX car and 2000 miles on 8-EX car. At the present time Depots are supplied with the present standard scheme by means of which flexibility is introduced by [strikethrough]means[/strikethrough] of a rubber ring. This is being applied to customers cars which are complained of. The question of applying this retrospectively on all cars is being considered and BY.{R.W.
