Messrs Rolls-Royce Ltd. 21/2/1923. generally at least four times greater. Up to the present it has not been found possible to make a valve using, of three discs, such as is necessary to obtain a precise reading, which will act equally well for cold and hot pressures. In the course of the next few days we shall be able to let you know the price of a hot disc valve. For reasons that would be too lengthy to detail, we have not done much in the way of Aerometers and Manographs since 1915, but as interest in these instruments appears to be reviving, we are going into the matter thoroughly, and hope shortly to be in a position to issue a little price list of disc valves, spares and fresh Gauges.
