ROAD SPRINGS - PHANTOM 11. ------------------------- Will you kindly note that our policy in regard to Phantom 11 road springs in future should be as follows :- (1). For England, unless specifically stated otherwise, Low Rated Springs. (2). For the Continent, the type of springs we at present specify for this purpose viz. 10% stronger than the similiar springs used for English purposes up to the present. (3). Continental Phantoms. These are to be fitted with stiffer type high rated springs. As, generally speaking, we cannot fit the present standard type of spring to the Continental cars owing to the 10% increase on the latter, it means that we shall have to use up present stock before we can bring in the proposal to use all low rated springs as standard.
