XXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX NOVEMBER 2ND. 1932. BV5/2.II.32. Messrs Park Ward & CO. Ltd., 473, High Road Willesden. N.W.10. Dear Sirs, RE BENTLEY "B" BODIES. You will remember that some while ago you sent to us a full size drawing at the back of the dash of the Bentley "B" bonnet as fitted to your model chassis and to which you have built the two bodies. This was dimensioned. Derby have now set out the shape to the dimensions which you gave and they say that they do not then obtain the shape given on your drawing. I have told them to correct the dimensions until they do give the shape that you give on your drawing and to send you a template of that shape in three-ply wood so that you can check it up on the bodies. They are also sending you a full size drawing of the bonnet at the back of the dash which agrees with your shape and the template and on which your dimensions and their corrected ones are given. This will enable your Mr Sparks to see where Derby and he disagree. The writer will discuss this with you when next he calls at your works. Yours faithfully, | ||
