2nd. November 1920.

Messrs. Lodge Plugs Ltd.,
Rugby.

Dear Sirs,

Lodge Plugs - C.9 Type.

Your reply to ours ref.-Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}3/NJ261020, of the 26th ult. has been mislaid and we shall be much obliged if you will send us a copy.

Our letter referred to C.9 type Plugs and we have noted you do not fit this type of Plug with Stainless Steel electrodes.

We shall be interested to learn whether you have employed Stainless Steel for the centre electrode of any of your Plugs and, if so, with what success, and we shall also be pleased to learn whether, if successful, you see any objection to a Stainless Steel electrode in the C.9 type Plug.

Our enquiry has no motive beyond the desire that your plugs shall be satisfactory.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
J M Whitehead.
