Experimental Test Report. There have been a number of failures of fan blades on customers cars. The fractures show fatigue. The new scheme is a reinforcing plate of aluminium. This can be applied quickly. We consider this alteration essential when smaller fan pulley is used. Road Test Report. Fitted to 4.EX Car - run 300 miles. Box X No. 3438 Drawing No. E.20814/5. Part List A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works.
