Attention Mr. Spicer.

Dear Mr. Spicer,

Handles.

Referring to the handle designs which you left with us last week, the following have been selected with modifications :-

Outside Handles, Sheet No. P D/EXP 6/6385 Sheet 1, scheme "B".

Interior Handles, Sheet No. PD/EXP 6/6386, scheme "B" (RC{R. Childs})

We like the design of this handle, but in our opinion there is insufficient room for the hand. We think that you will agree that the handle should have approximately 3" inside for the hand. It will probably mean that the handle will have to be lengthened slightly.

And Scheme "B" (WR).

Regarding the latter on the blue print, a faint line is shown which was undoubtedly the original. This has been rubbed out and the centre of the handle has been raised. We think that the original line would be most satisfactory. With the raised centre, we think that there will be a tendency to catch the knuckles when operating the regulator.

We should like black knobs fitted and also should like to see a sample of the amber knob mentioned on your print, although this may be similar to the material of which you promised to send us a sample.

Before finishing the set of regulator
