To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 85410 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/MJ.13.12.30. We are going forward with low rating 20 HP. springs. Our view of the present suspension problem is that the springs on Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s. car have been agreed by everyone to be an improvement in riding comfort, and we are therefore testing them with a view to standardisation instead of the present standard spring. The 20 HP. springs on the attached order are on exactly parallel lines, suitable for the bumping test, and for the car now running 10,000 miles in France.
